MR physicist Kine Mari Bakke’s research has been featured on the Akershus University Hospital website. In a new article, Kine is interviewed about her recent studies into the use of physics to improve the specificity of MR imaging for cancer.
Kine’s research showed that patients with lower blood flow through their tumour were more likely to have a poor prognosis when compared to patients with higher blood flow. This very interesting article can be read on the Ahus research website.
The original research article was published in the September issue of the premier radiology journal Radiology and may be accessed through this link.
