Acredit’s own Ida Storhaug Frøysnes successfully defended her thesis today. Entitled “Novel Therapeutic Approaches in Peritoneal Metastasis from Colorectal Cancer”, Ida’s thesis focused on the potential for use of novel immunotoxin payloads in the treatment of colorectal cancer. All of Ida’s hard work and preparation were on full display as she breezed through both her presentations and subsequent questioning.
Special thanks to opponents Professor Olivier Glehen (Lyon Sud Charles Mérieux Medical Faculty, University Lyon 1, France) and Professor Karen-Lise Garm Spindler (Department of Clinical Medicine, Aarhus University, Denmark) for their interesting insight and thought-provoking questions and to third member and Chair of the Adjudication Committee, Professor Øyvind Sverre Bruland (Institute of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo). Ida’s work was deftly supervised by Professor Kjersti Flatmark (Institute of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo).
