Acredit collaborators secure a COST Action grant

An European initiative, spearheaded by Professor Kjersti Flatmark’s group, has been awarded a COST Action grant. The COST programme seeks to increase the coordination of research in Europe through funding aimed at building cooperative environments for research across countries and disciplines. The COST Action, entitled “European Network on Pseudomyxoma Peritonei” (or EuroPMP for short) is now open for any interested parties to apply to take part.

Researchers and physicians from France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Norway and the United Kingdom have already pledged to be part of the initiative, which will coordinate communication, standardisation of protocols, identification of novel targets for cooperative projects and improvement of information for patients.

The COST programme is funded by the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme of the European Union, and is managed by the programme for European Cooperation in Science and Technology. For more information about the Action, see the link on the COST website at this link.
